(on the corner of Menaul & Louisiana) SWDRA Meeting from January 6, 2010 Meeting Starts @7:05 pm Wes- Present Alan- Present Michael-Ann- Present Old minutes read, approved by: Manny B. & Ned P. OLD BUSINESS: Banquet: Be sure to get your monies in by January 13th. 50/50: SWDRA will have a table set up to sell 50/50 tickets and will give 4 prizes away. Christmas Donation: SWDRA donated $250 to the Childlife Program @ UNM Hospitals. This way they can purchase what is needed for the kids that have to stay in the hospital. Decals: Wes is working on having some new decals made this year that will hold up better and not fade as quickly if at all. More on this will be discussed as details are gathered. Super Class Races: We are still discussing accepting these races for the points chase and want to vote on it at the February meeting hopefully. Please be sure to attend if you would like to participate in these races so that all concerns can be addressed. Reminder: Don't forget to get your ET# from NHRA Safety: Have your safety equipment up to date! This makes it much easier for those folks in tech at the track and this way they won't have to prevent you from racing. This also applies for any applicable licensures. Members

coments page! NEW BUSINESS: Racer of the month: February Racer's of the month are: The Skinner Family. Congrats! Points: The points will start January 1st and you may begin turing points in for any races that you participate in as long as your membership dues are paid for before that race. Remember to turn in all submittable points each time you race, because it does add up. Comment Box on the website: Wes has put this together and would like to receive any and all feedback. He is also putting together a member page so that each member's info is on there in case someone else needs to get ahold of them. This will be password protected so that only SWDRA members have access. Please email Wes with your current email and phone numbers. Super Chevy: It's back!!! Please refer to the Super Chevy website as they have a schedule out for 2010 and it looks to be pretty great for anyone that wants to compete.
