OLD BUSINESS:

Future Car Shows: It would be nice if we can organize a car show for SWDRA next season so anyone with ideas on when and where we can have a car show or two, please email one of the board members so that we can discuss it next season.

Super Chevy: August 19th weekend, check the Bandimere website for all details. Be safe and have fun!!

Club Clash: RDRA vs SWDRA. Still working out the details for making a firm decision for the race to take place in September on a weekend that doesn't conflict with current race schedules. Date to be announced. Automotive head exchange will donate a trophy that will go to the winning club to hold for a year untill we all meet again. Thanks Ernie and Diane!!

Money for the Jr's & Adults: So each year as you all know we help pay for our Jr's to race at the Western Conference Finals in Denver and the adults that race at the Summit ET bracket series. This year the Summit ET is in Sacramento, CA and none of our SWDRA members are going to be able to make it. Since money is tight for all we have decided to pay the entry fee for the Jr's that went to Denver and keep the rest of the money in the account for our awards at the end of the season. This was voted on and voted in favor or.

Banquet Committee: Alan has spoken breifly to track ownership and a meeting between the commitee and track owners is still in the making, but items we are talking about sounds to be no problem for next years awards cermony which will be held once again at the Route 66 Casino, we are positive in this outcome so We all can enjoy having just one banquet and seeing all of our fellow racers.

Get your pictures of your cars to Wes for the next car wash flyer. Wes did a great job of putting the flyers together and would like for some race cars to be on the next one.
He would really like to have a pic of everybodies cars for the gallery too!

Mopar vs the World in Roswell: The purse monies are as advertised and guaranteed. Check the Roswell track website for all details and good luck to all that race!

Thank you to the track staff and management for putting on a great race weekend July 31st & Aug. 1st! We appreciate everything you all did for us as racers in rescheduling the race for the next day due to the crazy weather. Thank you so much!!!!!

Thank you to each of our members that regularly show up for our meetings! We appreciate you all and your input is very important to us. We would like to see more members come and share their input and opinions so we hope that will happen soon.

New Meeting Place:
Suggestions are welcome. We would like to meet someplace that stays open a little later so if we need the extra time we have it.

Meeting etiquette:
No more arguing. If you feel like you need to discuss something that could potentially become an arguement as we all have our opinions, then please wait until after the meeting and discuss it with the board or email on of the board members. We need to have productive meetings and it should be a place where we can all gather and discuss the association and productively discuss any issues.

Check your safety equipment and be mindful of rule changes in this new year
